Here’s ten more UNESCO World Heritage sites that I have visited. It was sad that when I posted the photograph of old Damascus I wondered what it would be like now. This wanton destruction and deaths of thousands of civilians is just totally unacceptable, but the world seems helpless to do anything about it. The people who use this as a religious justification should take time to read their own holy scriptures, which state that it is against their religion to wage war and kill innocent women and children. I don’t care what they say; there is absolutely no justification at all. To me they are murderers and criminals who only think of themselves and don’t give a damn about human life.

My apologies for that outburst, let’s all look at these 10 photographs and think about the good in this world.

Now here’s an example of religious tolerance, the mosque above also has a church in the same building. This makes me happy.
